Meet Jake
Things that Jake likes: a seeming endless food supply, great veterinary care, treats, eating at L.A. restaurants, getting pet all the time, car rides, and finally having a pack.
Things that Jake don’t like: Rules, obedience training, walking on a leash, behavior correction, great veterinary care, and scheduled bathroom breaks.
Unfortunately, Jake is dying.
During our second vet visit while waiting to get him neutered - we discoverd Jake has an incurable kidney disease. His kidneys are partially functioning and one day they will just stop.
We’re still glad that we saved his life. When he plays, or smiles, or wags his tail estatically when you look in his direction we think the life we have with him will be fun, if short.
