Yet another Tuesday, and yet another weigh in.  Today’s weight:  174.8.

The diet hasn’t started yet, as far as I’m concerned.  During the time I’ve been in L.A., through better eating or exercise — never at the same time — I’ve stayed between 165 and 170.  So to work through the extra weight I’ve gained over the last year (unemployment, boredom, and no exercise converged in twelve pounds in eight months), seems counter productive.

So, I’m trying not to get hemmed in by the numbers, or it doesn’t seem like it’s doing any good.

Unfortunately, the Cedars program focuses on weight as the only indicator of progress.  I’m going to also take regular body measurements to mark the changes.

I fell off (or stepped off) the wagon for Adam’s surprise party.  The mushroom frittata, and onion tart were good.  The red velvet cake was okay.  The feeling I had after eating all that food wasn’t regret so much, as it didn’t seem worth risking the weight loss for.

So we’re geared up for another week.  Just loads of Chicken Pasta Parmesan and shakes, shakes, shakes.
