I’ve hit the dreaded plateau.  Since I last checked in, I’m at 159 pounds.

Sure that’s four pounds less than before — but I think it’s been about that many weeks.

It seems that all the exercises I worked out to burn three hundred calories are barely burning one hundred fifty, two hundred if I’m lucky.

According to my cursory Internet research, my body is holding dearly to it’s fat — because — god forbid a famine comes my way.

The upside is that apparently, I’m in excellent cardiac health.

So, there are two theories on the ‘plateau.’  I can either eat more calories one or two days a week or I can burn more calories.  I haven’t made a decision either way.  It’s been too hot to extend my exercising — and I can’t decide what else to eat.

If I had stayed in the CS Weight Management — their method was to eat/drink one or two extra entrees or shakes on Wednesdays.  I only stayed on the weeks that they were pushing extra shakes, and I could barely get down the three they recommended shakes as it was.

We’ll see.  I’ve finally settled on a reasonable goal weight of 135 to 140.  So 19 to go until I’m close to where I want to  be.  There are only four remaining weeks of my original thirteen, but I’m seeing an extension is probably going to be in order.
