Like The Business of Being Born, Your Best Birth, touches upon the issues that arise when women give up their power. Horrifying and unnecessary C-Sections, drug laden births, and poor outcomes riddle the American medical system. We’ve made birth an illness, then wonder why we’re ill.
Read this book (and watch the documentary) at your peril. You will be horrified. They are eye opening. The movie changed my life, the book will probably change yours.
You don’t have to tell me twice. My grandmother and all but one of her siblings was born at home. If it was good enough for them, it’s good enough for me.
