Because every girl should have a soapbox

Quick Review – Stranded – Lori Foster

I read Stranded, by Lori Foster because it was free.  I guess listening to it would be more accurate.  I clicked a link on a blog for the free Audible.com download, and there it was on my iPod instantly.  Fortunately, for my tender ears, it was only an hour and a half.

First, let me come clean.  I’m no fan of the novella.  It’s never realistic, for me, for characters to meet (or reacquaint), and fall in love (or lust) in eighty pages.  Everything seems rushed, and you develop no interest in the characters.  This book was no different.  I can’t even remember the characters names, but they got snowed in (a trope I usually enjoy), realize their attraction, and make a committment.  I wouldn’t recommend, but free is free.
